    Koto-koto Market

    I went to the Koto-koto Market at Son-eiji temple, which called "Hattasan" also, in Fukuroi-city, Shizuoka pref,. I have ever been to the market 2times, I enjoyed the both market. And I had been looking forward to go again before several weeks. The name "Koto-koto" comes from the meaning of Japanese words「ことこと」. It describes the sound that be using a sawing machine "kotokoto",;be cooking something by a pot "kotokoto". So the goods which is sold this market are almost handmade. One of the point why I attract this market is that these goods have originality each one. Another point is that the Seller is also the Maker. I can talk about the goods with the maker. It was rarely chance for me, and I think it is important for buyer. And last point, I have an interesting of this venue. The history in Japan, it had been held regular market in front of the temple. The Koto-koto market also hold 2times in one year, and used as the venue in temple of Son-eiji. Such like a market is natural style of commercial space in society. But there are few people who pay homage to main space...
